And this is my present bike... I bought her 18 months after the Intruder died but since I bought her in Italy and I wanted to have a Hellenic number plate (for the photo radars! :-) ) I exported her to my country. Now, do you know what "bureaucracy in Hellas" means? It took me almost one year to have the number plate!!
She is not so young ('92) but still a smooth bike. 80 hp, 220 kmh (that is 136 mph). I have taken her to 205 kmh only once and then I had to slow down, I am a disaster as a fast rider! :-).
These are from summer 2003 at the south of Crete. The Honda AX-1 250 belonged to my friend Yannis who also made the pics. I've put the top case on my bike just before traveling from Italy back to Greece on July 2003. It is very ugly, I know, but extremely useful for the second helmet (you never know ;-) ), the locks, white coat and stethoscope (!), gasoline tube, and some other useful stuff!!
This one is dated 21 September 2003. It was shot at Milano Marittima near Ravenna (Italy) by the sea. You don't see the sea in the picture, it was a rainy day anyway! :) Note the scratches on the right side of the bike: streets are very slippery in Iraklion, this are the results of using the front disks to stop some days before... :-(
